The launch of AH Lashes

Did you know that the first false eyelashes were created in 1916? They were worn by Hollywood actress Seena Owen in the movie Intolerance, as director D.W. Griffith wanted “her lashes to brush her cheek, and her eyes to shine bright.”*

And yesterday (and almost 100 years later) at Saks Fifth Avenue, a small group of us celebrated the launch of a brand new range of very lovely lashes. AH Lashes by Bahraini makeup artist Azhar Hubail.

The lashes come in 10 different styles, including smaller sizes

So what makes AH Lashes so special?

Their names. Sara, Dana, Noor, Haifa (as in Haifa Wehbe), Maria (Azhar’s daughter), Mai (named after Mai AlMoayed)…

Their quality. The lashes are made from natural hair, come packaged in a luxurious wooden box, and can be reused many times if treated properly.

And finally, their exclusivity. AH Lashes are available only in Bahrain – at Saks and Faces, where they retail for BD6.
